(COLD OPENING) A Message from President Bush

Highlights:

-- None.

Lowlights:

-- Darrell's Bush impression is still terrible, and the writing was also bad, so Darrell had nothing to back him up. Like I said before, either let Jeff try it out or give it back to Parnell.

Grade: F

(MONOLOGUE) Band and crew members annoy Alec Baldwin

Highlights:

-- Mike Myers' cameo was great and he really saved this.

Lowlights:

-- The first half before Myers came on was weak.

Grade: B-

(COMMERCIAL) Huggies Thong

-- A rerun from the season premiere.

(SKETCH) Dr. Landsman

Highlights:

-- This was great and Alec was funny as the doctor.

-- Good twist at the end.

Lowlights:

-- None.

Grade: A

(SKETCH) The Zinger vs. The Burn

Highlights:

-- Alec's "burn" moves.

-- Some of the insults were good.

Lowlights:

-- The ending was kinda weak.

Grade: B

(NEXT LIVE EPISODE) December 6, 2003: Rev. Al Sharpton

-- I have a feeling this will turn out to be very good. The two politician episodes from last season were both surprisingly great, and Sharpton can actually be funny sometimes, even if it's unintentional. We'll see.

(SKETCH) "The Tony Bennett Show"

Highlights:

-- Alec was great at Tony Bennett and had a lot of funny lines.

-- Fred's character was funny.

Lowlights:

-- None.

Grade: B+

(COMMERCIAL) "Gaystrogen"

-- Two repeated commercials in one episode?! Oh, c'mon

(SKETCH) "The Falconer"

Highlights:

-- I always like this sketch, and it's good to see it back again.

-- Alec's Celine Dion line.

-- The falcon gambling getting high.

-- The Mexican kids hitting the Falconer.

-- I liked the upside down title card at the end.

Lowlights:

-- None.

Grade: B+

(MUSICAL PERFORMANCE)

(WEEKEND UPDATE) Fallon & Fey, Will Forte, Christian Slater

Highlights:

-- Tina's Arnold joke.

-- Tina's Kevin Costner joke.

-- Forte's segment. It's good to see him getting attention as himself, and the tape was hilarious, especially the part with Fred at the end.

-- Tina's Joan Rivers joke.

-- Jimmy's Christina Aguilera.

-- Jimmy's Demi Moore joke and his reaction afterwards.

-- Tina's Rosie O'Donnell joke.

Lowlights:

-- Tina's opening Bush joke.

-- Jimmy's Ian Anderson joke.

Misc. Comments & Observations:

-- Why did somebody in the audience boo Tina's Gore joke?

Grade: A-

Alec's "Free the Turkeys" bumper picture was funny.

(SKETCH) Sir Anthony McCollum's press conference

Highlights:

-- A great sketch and all the gay innuendos were hilarious.

Lowlights:

-- None.

Grade: A+

(SKETCH) Arguing couple during conference

Highlights:

-- Alec and Amy again had good chemistry together.

-- Alec's Jewel line.

Lowlights:

-- The ending with Seth and Rachel was weak.

Misc. Comments & Observations:

-- Rachel looked a lot like Tina in this.

Grade: C

(MUSICAL PERFORMANCE)

(SKETCH) Roy returns

Highlights:

-- The audience being splattered with blood.

Lowlights:

-- The ending was abrupt and this seemed pointless.

Grade: D

(SKETCH) Scheinwald Pictures

Highlights:

-- This was really funny and Rachel was hilarious as the old man. The good closing sketch streak continues.

Lowlights:

-- None.

Misc. Comments & Observations:

-- I remember hearing that this sketch got cut from the Jon Stewart episode. Weird how they waited 2 seasons to bring it back.

-- Was there supposed to be a sketch that followed this? Because it sounded like you could hear another sketch start (I think it was the Telelink commercial from earlier this season, which would've made this the THIRD repeat commercial tonight) before they cut to the ending bumper picture.

Grade: A
